Edmonton Suzuki Piano School is pleased to host The River City Suzuki Piano Institute and provide a Volume 6 Experience, complete with teacher training and a student program from July 8 – 12, 2019 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

For the first time, teachers will have the opportunity to study Volume 6 in Western Canada with Teacher-Trainer Gail Lange.   Students will participate in daily master classes, group and ensemble classes.   RCSPI will also offer an afternoon program with master classes and ensemble classes for Volume 2 and 3 students.  The week will end with a celebratory Friday afternoon recital.

2019 Institute Program:

Volume 6 Teacher Program

  • 15 hours instruction
  • 8 hours individual lesson observation
  • 4 hours group class observation

  • July 9-12, 2019
  • Daily individual lesson with Suzuki repertoire

Teacher Training Pre-Requisites:
Before registering, please ensure your eligibility for enrolment.  Visit the SAA website for Teacher Training Pre-Requisites.

Required Course Preparation:
Teacher training participants are asked to prepare the repertoire in Volume 6 to be ready for performance. Participants will be performing Suzuki repertoire in class.

Teacher Attendance:
100% attendance is required for registering the course completion with the SAA.

Refund Policy:
Enrolment at the RCSPI is on a first come, first served basis and is assured only by registration and prompt payment of fees. Due to commitments to faculty, only tuition refund requests made before May 1 can be considered. An administration fee of $75 will be deducted from any refund.  After May 1, no fees can be refunded even if you are not able to attend.
